When owning a Victorian property, part of the attraction is having the original features spread throughout the home. This 4 bedroom semi-detached home has many original features, such as sash windows and multiple fire places in the majority of bedrooms and living areas.
The property has been built to house a good size family and all of the rooms have comfortable floorspace with some rooms benefiting from the bay windows.
There is plenty of storage space scattered around the home, such as the deep cupboards, useful cellar and an additional area just next to the loft room. The loft room is currently used as a hobby room and has a skylight installed to add some natural light.
The town centre is within walking distance, as is the train station at Maidstone East. If you commute to London, the train will get you to Victoria within the hour.
THE OWNER QUOTE
We have been in this house for 30 plus years and have such great memories . The house was a happy family home with lots of good times, laughs and fun. Plenty of space to bring up our family, really good neighbours, close to town and it gave us easy access to Maidstone East train station. The sun rises at the front of house in the mornings, we can have a glass of wine in the evening, whilst the sun sets in the rear garden. We are only moving as we are downsizing.
