Leadale Avenue is a very quiet cul-de-sac in Leabrooks, on the outskirts of Alfreton. The town is less than a ten-minute drive by car, and there is a bus stop at the end of our road with regular services to Mansfield and Derby. To travel further afield, it’s just 10 minutes to get onto the M1 at J28.

Closer to home there are great facilities; including an Aldi supermarket, two GP surgeries and several pharmacies. Alfreton town boasts a large Tesco supermarket, and Sainsburys is a few minutes away in Ripley.

We are only 15 minutes away from the East Midlands Designer Outlet with its host of shops and eateries, and just a few minutes’ drive takes you into the wonderful Derbyshire countryside.

We love the layout of the bungalow. We had the conservatory added soon after moving, and had the kitchen extended to include a dining area. The brick-built garage has room for two cars, and plenty of storage space.

Because we are a small cul-de-sac with just 10 bungalows, there is a real sense of community here, and everyone looks out for each other.

We have been very happy here over the last fifteen years and truly hope that the next owners of number 10 will love it as much as we do.”
