We used one cellar room as a cinema and entertainment room. The other cellar room we used as a spare bedroom for family and friends and as a place to do workouts at other times. Not only is it quiet, but it is comfortably cool during the summer months to escape the heat. And of course, with central heating throughout, it is very cosy when the weather gets colder.

The kitchen was very practical and big enough for us to cook when we hosted dinner parties. We used the ground floor bedroom as our dining room, which was then later on used as an extra bedroom and a ‘work from home’ study during the lockdown months until now.

Upstairs, we renovated and installed cupboards for our wardrobes in the master bedroom, utilising the space the high ceiling gave us, which allowed the room to still be very spacious. We also renovated the bathroom about two years ago to give it that modern look. The spare bedroom upstairs was used as a study.

A big bonus for us was that the property came with allocated off-street parking. Being so close to the country side via Boxley Road and other beautiful attractions in Kent, we decided to buy a car to make the most out of it. All in all, this home was ideal for this time in our lives.
