The Jubilee Path, a circular walk across National Trust land to Rockcliffe, being a firm favourite for all. Or, for a more strenuous activity, jump on your bike and head into Dalbeattie Forest with its world class 7Stanes mountain bike trails and MTB skills development area.
A short, 5-minute drive finds you at a couple of local beaches at Rockcliffe and Sandy Hills Bay, where memories are created building sand castles and exploring rock pools.
