Estate Agents in Essex

A Premium & Personal Estate Agency Service Delivered Without Exception

TAUK – Not your typical estate agency

Until now, estate agents have employed traditional models and online methods for selling homes, basing their businesses on volume.

We believe estate agency can be done better with the client at the heart of the process, using local property experts with knowledge of the Essex area, who give a more personal service to help people with their property needs.

Most importantly, we believe each home move is unique and deserves an experience to match. Additionally, working with only a handful of clients selling in each local area allows us to dedicate more time to you and your potential buyers.

So, we’re wrapping up the traditional estate agency blueprint and building a network of the most knowledgeable, approachable, professional and experienced local experts to provide a refreshingly responsive, hands-on approach to estate agency and moving homes.

We will utilise the best marketing and advertising and the latest technology to target the right audience across the most effective channels. Our cohesive brand identity will elevate the style and story of your home.

Popular places to live in Essex

The best of both worlds – the town’s convenience and the country’s peace.

Many people bookmark Essex as a place to live for numerous reasons – its picturesque villages, long coastlines and upbeat towns. If you’re considering Essex as a possible place to relocate or invest in property, here are the five best places to keep an eye on.

Chelmsford

If you’re looking for a modern place to live that offers both convenience and relaxation, look no further than Essex’s only city. With excellent train services into London, it’s perfect for commuters who want to enjoy the peace of Essex on the weekends.

Chelmsford has many activities to keep you busy, whether looking for urban thrills or more tranquil countryside pursuits. If you have children, Chelmsford is an excellent place to raise a family – it’s home to two of the top grammar schools in England.

According to Zoopla, the average cost of properties in Chelmsford is £474,632.

Saffron Walden

This lovely market town is situated in north Essex, just 15 miles from Cambridge and near the M11 and Duxford. The town has elegant architecture and a vibrant coffee shop scene.

On the outskirts of town, you’ll find Audley End—an English Heritage home that hosts great outdoor concerts and has a miniature railway for families.

The average house price in Saffron Walden is currently £448,048.

Frinton on Sea

A visit to Frinton on Sea should definitely be on your list, but if you choose to live here, you’ve made an excellent choice.

This town has all the charming British seaside qualities – sandy beaches and lovely scenery – without any of the tackiness found in other resort towns. If a beautiful and peaceful place is what you’re looking for, Frinton will suit you perfectly.

Choose to live here, and you can expect to pay an average of £308, 968 for a property.

Colchester

The former capital of England is full of history. You can see it in the architecture and features around town and the high street. Colchester Castle, Colchester Zoo, museums and galleries are all great places to start. Or you could go for a scenic walk or cycle around the local area.

If you commute to work or are returning to the office, it’s a mere 49-minute train ride into London and has season tickets at competitive prices compared to other towns. With its proximity to the A12, it’s just as easy getting to the beach too!

The average price to live in Colchester is a reasonable £265,805.

Felsted

Felsted is a village located between Braintree and Great Dunmow, south of the A120. The village offers many amenities such as a post office, restaurants, pubs, and even a new coffee and bookshop!

For families with school-aged children, Felsted School is an excellent option. There are also several great nursery and preschool settings in the village.

Not only does Felsted offer scenic walks and bike rides, but residents are only a 10-15 minute drive away from Braintree or Dunmow. Chelmsford, Bishops Stortford, and Stansted are also nearby and only 20 minutes away!

Because Felsted is such a beautiful location, the cost of living is slightly higher than in other places. A detached property here will likely cost you around £621,967.
