Established independent Redruth estate agents

Growing up in the famous, former mining town of Camborne, near Redruth Cornwall.

It’s hard not to feel fascinated by all things property when surrounded by many architectural delights.

From beautiful granite built town-houses to quirky, chocolate-box cottages.

Nick started his property career during his late teens.

Working with local independent estate agents, Nick quickly gained an in-depth understanding of the local property market, covering the coastal town of Helston and the adjoining Lizard Peninsula and many other rural locations in West Cornwall.

Quickly working his way up through the ranks, his passion for property earned him a reputation for successfully selling homes and property management from a young age.

Ever eager to help buyers with their property search he quickly honed an efficient selling process.

He spent time at one of the UK’s largest online estate agents.

Covering a large part of the county before returning to a traditional estate agent.

Running a sizeable, busy branch in the marine town of Falmouth and former mining giant Redruth.

Nick has decided to combine his formidable reputation, professional and friendly approach with The Agency UK’s estate agency backing to bring his local community the power of local knowledge and expertise.

Combined with beautiful marketing and a streamlined, customer-focused approach to moving home.

When Nick isn’t selling homes in Cornwall, shaming all other estate agents (just kidding), you can find him staying active in and around the local community.

An avid gym-goer and football player for the village club Illogan RBL. He is also an active charitable fundraiser, having worked previously alongside the local children’s hospice, by completing a virtual half marathon during the pandemic to raise funds for the charity.

Nick is also our estate agent for Camborne.

Nick at the TAUK was exactly what we needed; honest, efficient and personable.

His advice and knowledge prior to the sale led to no surprises and our expectations exceeded.

His service following the sale was great keeping in contact and updated throughout the legal stages.

Nick Brown – My Hero – Outstanding Agent with TAUK

I wish I had met Nick Brown of TAUK back in November 2021 when my house FIRST went on the market! His job in selling my house would have been a whole lot easier for him …….but even with the odds against he turned out to be my modern day knight in shining armour – a miracle worker and a hero in my eyes.

My house was at first with another agency, and they sold it quickly, but then a covenant preventing out of county buyers that had slipped by our solicitor 18 yrs previously, when we first bought, (and which we were therefore ignorant of), was revealed and my buyer had to withdraw, to her distress, and my shock and despair. By this time it was heading towards December and then Christmas, and I had very few viewings for weeks and weeks and then January was also slipping away. My retirement flat bought STC seemed increasingly at risk …….and then I met Nick Brown from The Agency, by serendipity.

A property that has been on sale for so long with another agent, and reduced, is not the most attractive prospect to take on, but Nick was willing to help me. He explained in detail how he works with an Open House model, different to the way houses are often sold on the high street which hadn’t worked for me, and I could see that with him there personally taking care at every level, that I could relax and trust him with the details.

First, I had to extricate myself from the previous agent who tried to charge me unexpected admin fees, even after I had served the 2 weeks notice as in the contract. That done, I had concluded that if Nick couldn’t sell then no one could, but even I was not prepared for what happened next.

After an Open House day, followed on quickly by several more viewings held on the same day, I am still amazed at what he has managed to achieve for me in a such a brief period of time – and this is indicative of his skill and experience in the field of selling property. In short he sold my house not only speedily, but for an offer that was way over my expectations of what might be possible. After all the unhappiness with the previous Estate Agency, and other things happening in my life, my horizons and mental state had been pretty low.

So, I have no hesitation in recommending Nick to you if you are looking for someone to sell your house – don’t bother to go to the High Street – call Nick instead! You will save yourself a lot of pain, and should come out the other end with a smile on your face.

Best estate agent I have used to date!

We cannot rate Nick high enough, he was extremely professional and maintained a high level of knowledgeable support throughout the entire process. Whenever we had any question Nick would respond immediately. He even took the time to come to my workplace to collect a spare key to save me the trouble. Little things like that along with his obvious expertise go a very long way in making the experience worry free and swift. Would definitely be my go to agent. Highly recommended.
