About Alexandra
Alexandra came to Brighton to study for her Business Management degree in 1999. She loved the vibrancy of the city, especially the period architecture. Also, with her family hailing from central Brighton, it felt like coming home.

We couldn’t be happier with Brighton and Hove as a city to call home. The beautiful South Downs for fabulous walks to the beach for a refreshing sea swim. After school, my young son loves to pop by Queens Park with its pond and playground or the Sealife Centre if it’s raining; both are an easy walk from home. At weekends we cycle along the seafront to Hove Lagoon for the watersports offered there and a bit of crabbing. The city provides a great sporty outdoors lifestyle brilliant for socialising.
I love horse riding in Ashdown Forest; I don’t have time for my own horse but enjoy taking in the countryside, it’s so exhilarating, and the stables are good fun.
We particularly love the Kemp Town side of town, where the pace of life is a bit gentler, and it’s easy to access the seafront where we love to enjoy the beach. There is also a great sense of community in the area, and it’s particularly friendly.
