The property market in Bournemouth

Five years ago, house prices in Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch were above the national average and continue to be so today.

The real estate market is robust, and there isn’t enough supply at the moment, which is contributing to fierce buyer demand. We don’t anticipate this situation to change any time soon.

In Bournemouth, the real estate market has been on a steady rise for some time. House prices in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and surrounding areas have increased from £245,188 to an average of £309,741 over the past six years, a growth rate that is sure not going anywhere anytime soon!

Some of the most desirable areas in Bournemouth to buy a home include Westbourne, Boscombe, Sandbanks, Southbourne and Winton. The properties in these areas are very popular and often come with a high price tag.

If you’re looking for a more family-friendly setting, there’s nothing better than Southbourne. Houses in this area tend to be on the larger side, and it’s not uncommon to find properties with seven or eight bedrooms here.

In central Bournemouth, you’ll find many Victorian properties known to be very cosy, with original features and high ceilings. They can also come at a lower price than other areas in Bournemouth.

If you’re looking for something completely different, there’s nothing more unique than Sandbanks. Properties here are among the most expensive in the world, and the area has its shops and restaurants for residents of the area to enjoy.

Working with a good estate agent is essential if you’re looking for your first home, dream house, or investment opportunity. Their role is much more than simply finding the right home for you; they also ensure that the entire process goes as smooth as possible and protect your interests throughout your property search.

Ian went out if his way to provide an efficient service on the sale of my house. Always available and responded to any query very quickly. There was a long period between sale agreed and completion and Ian kept everyone informed throughout. Very much a personal service and having only one person to deal with definitely improves the Estate Agent experience.

TAUK provided a very personable and professional service. Our agent, Ian in the Bournemouth office, kept things progressing smoothly, always helped us get the information we needed, and was always able to accommodate viewings and inspections. Thank you!

My grandparents used this estate agent and couldn’t be happier with the service they provided, they found Ian Taylor to be very sincere, efficient and couldn’t be more helpful. I personally am using a very unsatisfactory service with a different estate agent in Essex who have landed me in a stressful set of circumstances, my family asked Ian for some independent advice on my behalf as they had a high degree of confidence in his professional opinion . Ian allowed them to forward his number and told me to call him. He gave me an hour of his time providing me with excellent advice and offering possible solutions and courses of action I could take to help my current situation , this is something my own estate agent hasn’t even done for us. Ian asked for nothing in return and was just happy to be helpful. In an industry which is somewhat shark infested at times it’s good to know that my grandparents are in good hands -I can see why this estate agent has such great reviews and I only only wish I had used them
